Skin Yeast
Tinea Versicolor aka Pityriasis Versicolor
This is a yeast that grows under the skin in susceptible people; I got it for the first time about four years ago, and I'm nearing 50.

When active, the yeast is red, produces little itchy flea bite type bumps, and the initially flat but later raised patches spread. The span of time shown in the photographs so far is December 2023 through May 2024. More details can be found on the ​About Me page. For a couple of reasons, I decided to back off on the treatment protocol during the summer and pick back up again once the heat subsides near November.
